We live at 4500 feet in snow country here in Western Montana, located next to several thousand acres of private land. Most winters the snow gets too deep to ride outside and we are chased indoors. But, weather permitting we still ride outdoors on plowed roads. We use the arena for starting colts but then like to ride in the surrounding hills. This way we feel the horses get a well rounded education. Owen does a terrific job starting colts. They get a solid foundation before going on to whatever the owner want. We offer riding and driving lessons. We start our own and take in outside horses for training as well.. |
